This quarter I read the book "Paper Towns" by John Green. It is a really cool book about a boy named Quentin who falls in love with a girl named Margo at a really young age when they became neighbors. They were best friends when they were little until they saw a dead man at Jefferson Park and they never talked to eachother again. They were in senior year and Margo had a boyfriend, but he cheated on her with her best friend so at night one day she went to Quentin's house for help, she wanted revenge. So they went late at night, and they talked again and became friends again so Q was really happy that this was actually happening. They became really good friends and one day Margo got lost, nobody knew of her and Q was asking for her all over the school. Margo always left clues so Quentin knew where she was and he looked for her for a really long time with help from his friends Ben and Radar. He looked all over for her until graduation day came and he found her far away in a paper town.

Two years ago, I was in ballet and my parents told me, "Is there a trip to the US this year?", I answered, "I seriously don't know much about it, why?". My parents didn't tell me why so I ignored it. Three months later, the academy sent me a letter that said that I had to do an audition to see my dancing abilities and if I qualified for the trip or not. I really didn't know if this letter was actually for me or not, so I went directly to my parents to ask, "What is this letter about?", and my parents didn't answer, but they showed a smily face, so I yelled, "I AM GOING TO HOLLYWOOD!". I was really excited and you could see it clearly in my face. Then all the meetings started. We were going to two academies, one named Millennium Dance Complex and the other named Edge Performing Arts Center. I got even more excited so I went to the audition. I had to dance and also make an application letter to my teacher, and had to answer some questions. Then one month later I got my application letter response, "You passed!" said my mom referring to my sister, "and you too!", she told me. My mom gave me the letter and so I started to read, it said that we had to go to the academy to the last step. In this step we had to record ourselves dancing to show to the US academies for them to approve and take a look at our level. The trip was getting closer, I was really excited, "I have good news", said the teacher, "We are going to meet Sophia Lucia". She was a really famous dancer and she was my idol, my teacher already planned everything with her manager to meet with her, so I couldn't wait any longer. The trip came and we had a great time, much better than expected. "IT WAS AWESOOMEEE!!". Lesson 49: Complete a blog post on the topic of your choice using semi-colons multiple times. Last summer I travelde to many places in the States, I went to Miami, Florida; Las Vegas, Nevada; San Francisco, California; and Los Angeles, California. We lived lots of experiences and one of them was Six Flags. My mom is really bad for this kind of programs; she decided not to join us in the adventure. She kept all our things; we were really excited and making the line. The best thing of my trip was spending time with my family and everything. Also we drove Miami, Atlanta; flew from Atlanta to Las Vegas; then drove Las Vegas, San Francisco; and San Francisco, Los Angeles. I ended up really tired and the last days I was really needed to come back, but I loved my trip, it was awesome. |
